NYC Baby Shower

A few weeks ago my sweet Ashlies threw me a baby shower out here in NYC. Ashley S. had her baby girl two weeks prior! I couldn't believe she was still willing to host the party at her home and it was decorated absolutely adorably! I'm a little obsessed with yellow and grey right now (which is the theme for baby girl's "wall") so those were the colors Ashley used.
I didn't get pictures with everyone who came, but here are my mother in law and sisters in law. I hope baby girl gets their ridiculously classy beauty.
Friends from work came too! Patricia (next to me) was the social worker who trained me when I first started at the hospital and Claire is the case manager who works with me on my unit now. They're both basically awesome.
Some of the ladies from church. Out of all my friends at the shower, probably 90% have a child under the age of 2. I can't wait to hang out with all of the other mommies!
And here are the two wonderful hostesses. They have been some of my best friends out here in NYC, and I am going to miss them with both of them moving away with their husband's for residency in a few months!
We have been so blessed by so many loving friends and family as we get ready for baby girl. My co-workers at both my jobs also threw amazing showers. I don't have any pictures because my phone was stolen, but I am so grateful to have so many wonderful and generous people in my life!

Fresno Baby Shower

While in Fresno, my mom and some friends from my home ward threw a baby shower for me. It was a "build a library" themed shower which means baby girl got lots of lots of books! And not one single repeat!
And of course she got lots of cute clothes as well!
Getting to visit with Fresno friends was the best part I think. Laureeny and I lived together my last year at BYU and spent our teenage years in the same ward. She and her husband now live back in Fresno and I love being able to see her and her cute baby boy when I get to go home.
My Great Aunt Mary and cousin Beth.

I've been babysitting Brandy's kids since the first one was about 6 months old. Now he's 14. It makes me feel real old.
Kristen and Kelly! The only person missing here is Kimmie (Kelly's daughter) they represent my childhood totally and completely. I met Kristen through Kimmie and I've been spending the night at Kimmie's and eating Kelly's waffles since the 1st grade.
The momma of course!
Ashley was one of the first friends I made when we moved into the ward my parents have lived in since I was about 11. She is the sweetest and kindest person I've ever met. So fun to catch up!
Thank you so much to everyone who came and who helped with the food and goodies. It was wonderful and I'm so much more prepared now for baby girl's arrival.

Future great-grandparents

I got to visit with my grandparents while in Fresno and had to take some pictures with the baby girl belly.

A few shots with Grandad and Marci
And a few shots with Poppa...

And one with four generations!

Maternity Photos

While I was in California, my mom and I did a very impromptu maternity photo shoot. Between my mom, me, my camera and photo shop I think we got some good ones. Be warned, there are some naked belly shots, so close the window if you don't want to see a couple! The Cindy talked me into them and I think it makes me love my belly instead of focusing on all the weirdness that is seeing your skin expand that much and realizing you have an alien poking you from the inside.
