We gonna party, like it's ma birthday

Last week was my birthday. My 24th birthday to be exact. That means next year I'll be a quarter of a century. I feel so old and so young at the same time mostly. It bothers me when I try and think about everything I have done, and everything I haven't done. But for my birthday we had...

Ice cream cake! The momma makes this every single year for my birthday. Because I'm a July baby and we have to have ice cream to keep it cool...
Blowing out the cute black and white birthday candles...
My teen cousins who are officially and embarassingly cooler than me
Other ickles swimming in the pool
Lifeguard daddio
It was good times in beautiful California!

Observations

At present I'm stuck in the dallas airport. This being my first experience with Texas, I have some observations.

1. The airport in general and all food places (even mcdonalds) smell like BBQ. Texas apparently loves their BBQ.
2. They have a little room specifically for veterans/service people. They love their troops!
3. There is a chapel, with a check in. God is watching yooooou!

So far, texas is interesting : )
