So my friend and running partner Ashley put her menu up on her blog and I wanted to copy. Because that is one less menu I have to worry about! I do two week menu's so here's what we've been eating this week and what the plan is for next week. This week wasn't so much the healthiest FYI... and I only really cook Sunday/Monday/Tuesday because I'm generally working Wednesday and Thursday night so we both eat leftovers and we tend to eat out on Friday and Saturday or again eat leftovers. I also always have eggs and toast on hand or canned soup, things like that that we can eat if I happen to be home one of the days we eat leftovers or if we don't feel like leftovers.
Menu
Sunday—tomato basil parmesan soup with
salad and French bread
Monday—Trader Joe's orange chicken and whole wheat couscous (I tend to keep a stash of frozen TJ foods in the freezer for when I'm
lazy planning the menu, which happened this weekend)
Tuesday— simply sesame noodles with shrimp, if we were trying to be a little healthy, I'd say eat some carrots or toss in some stir fry veggies
Wednesday—leftovers
Thursday—leftovers
Friday/Saturday—out/leftovers
Sunday— SUPER BOWL—asian flank steak skewers and whatever other goodies friends bring
Monday— tortellini in brodo with salad and home made bread of some sort (I'm a little into soups presently)
Tuesday—quinoa salad with black beans, avocado, cumin-lime dressing (straight up stole this from Ashley--see menu sharing is awesome!)
Wednesday—leftovers
Thursday—leftovers
