Sunrise...

A couple weeks ago Dan and I got up for our early morning scripture reading where I have to get up an hour before I really get up because of the hubs (I know, we're sooooo righteous right now (please say it in a valley girl accent so you can fully understand my sarcasm, we've barely been married for 2 months! We're all optimistic and shiz right now people, don't hate!)).

Anyways. The real story is that our beloved NYC was having crazy humid/rain/no rain/cold/hot/overall nasty weather. However, along with the horribleness of having to plan for in-climate weather in the walking city of New York, you also get some amazing skies. We woke up (Mr. Thomson jumped out of bed while I laid there and moaned at the unfairness of it all) and Dan started telling me over and over to come look out the window (I think I told him to leave me alone in a not so kind way). He kindly took some pictures so his sleep addled wife could later admire the gorgeous sky. Eventually I did get up and breath in the beauty, but I forgot that you can't take that deep a breath in NYC without inhaling some noxious fumes and quickly began to hack up a lung.

It was a pretty sky though, don't you think?

That's a cool pic. And I am so awed by your righteousness. Really and truly, because I have never offered to get up with Tyson when he leaves for anything. Ever. Not even scripture study.

Don't tell him about how nice you are to Dan, it will make him jealous.

Love you Maddie! We need to chat for realz sometime. Just so you know, we are planning on coming to visit you next summer. Cool?
