I know, weird face Maddie.Friday night Dan and I went on a double date with our friends Ashley and Jonathan. We went to Sushi A Go-Go near the temple and then went and saw Avatar in 3-D. The company was excellent, the food was yummy and the movie... was an experience.
The whole 3-D thing was pretty sweet. It didn't hurt my head and it was really cool, and it will definitely change how movies are made from now on. Even without the 3-D, the idea of having computer made characters and real people so easily intermixed in a movie is going to make a big impact. Now the story of Avatar.... not the best. It was entertaining, and I didn't go in hoping for any surprises in the plot line (there aren't any FYI, what you think is going to happen, it's gonna happen). Not a bad movie overall, but not amazing.
It was a fun night and I'm glad we got to hang out with some friends : ) We're definitely accomplishing our New Year's resolution to be more social and do fun things!
