And we are connected once again...

First things first. I would like to express appreciation to my closet friends for commenting on my last post and giving me some validation. You are good friends : )

Now on to the turtle. I would like to introduce you to Miss Harlem Aphrodite Thomson.
Miss Thomson, my peeps.
"well hello. I really can't take any time out to chat, I must continue to admire myself in the reflection and attempt to swim through the wall."
"and pose for my glamor shots of course."
"I am a rather independent turtle. I don't like extra attention and these new people I'm with scare me a little."
"That's why I always hide under my basking dock whenever they come near me."

Yeah our turtle definitely has an independent streak. She basically wants nothing to do with us. She won't even eat her food until we've stepped back a little. I'm hoping that with time she'll finally get it through her little pea sized brain that we don't want her for turtle soup and that however fast she swims into the wall, nothing will happen. There is no other turtle nor is there more water.

One can only hope for one's children to get smarter as they grow.
