Well I have some BIG announcements.
1. Dan and I added to our family and now own a turtle. It is a female turtle. We are still trying to decide a name. But we love our little girl.
2. I am officially hired at New York Foundling. A huge foster care agency which has many different arms in NYC. It has been around for a long time and offers a lot of different opportunities for growth. I will be a therapist in a brand new program. It is a very intensive program where I will only have 8 families and I will be going into their homes to do therapy with them. I'm excited and extremely nervous : ) I will be required to use my Spanish a whole stinkin lot which means I will be incredibly stressed out. But it will be good.
More news later. Our internet got zapped by lightning the other night during the crazy lightning storm. So hopefully it will be fixed on Monday and I will tell you all about everything : ) But I had to let you all know (if anyone actually reads and cares : )
have a splendid weekend!

Fantastic. :) I'm so SO excited for you! And maybe if we practice our Spanish together we'll both learn something, lol. Love ya much!
I care! That is great news. Way to go! Now you can start your life as a sugar mama. Can't wait to hear what you name the turtle . . .
I read this shiz all the time! Well, whenever there are updates. That is great that you now have a legit job! It is only upward from there. On the alternative camera note, Freestyle photography.biz is the official Holga dealer. You may know that, but what you may not know is the way to get that funky saturated color look in film. That is done by "cross-processing" the film. Which means telling the lab to develop your regular film as though it were slide film. The different chemicals make your regular film get nifty color saturation. And that ends today's alternative photo processes lesson. Next time: Cyanotype. :)
when i see the word "announcement" in large letters i assume it has to do with a baby. don't let me down like that. congrats on the new job, you are livin the dream.
