Two doggies?

A couple weeks ago, we watched Fitz's momma for a long weekend. We have a set of stairs down the front of our building and it's a little too much for these long bodied dogs. We had to come up with a method for carrying them down when we went by ourselves.
So we created the doggy stack. It was highly entertaining. Coco went on bottom since she's bigger and Fitz went cross ways on top. Good times with doxies!

The Tank

He's big and oh so delicious! There is definitely more than enough of him to go around. The latest nephew is so perfectly squeezable we couldn't get enough of him!




He was so much fun to cuddle and it was oh so nice to be able to give him back to mom and dad : )

Birthday BBQ bash in CT

This weekend, we went out to CT to celebrate the girls birthdays. It was fun to be with family and of course get out of the hot and muggy city!

First of all there was this adorable tank of a baby... there will be lots more pics later of this chunkiness!

Ate chubby cheeks

Gave some attitude
Giggled over our own ridiculousness

We had fun getting out of the city and trying to reign in our sanity a bit. I think everyone is going crazy in NYC with all this heat. We had fun and I enjoyed playing with my camera and taking pictures of things other than my dog : )

Grand Central

On Saturday, I went out to CT for a birthday BBQ with Dan's family. I got there earlier than I thought I would and got to play with my camera a bit...



Still needs lots of practice! But I'm having fun : )

Yum-o

The other weekend, I made these brownies which I found on this girl's awesome blog. I made them to give the girls I visit teach, but I forgot to bring them to church for the first one and the second one is allergic to chocolate now : ( sad day for her.
So Dan and I enjoyed them with ice cream.
Do you see that? That little bit of yummy goodness wedged in there? Yeah that's goat cheese. Only the most delicious cheese on earth. You should go make those brownies. They're yum

Blueberry pancakes

Last weekend, we decided to make some blueberry pancakes. They were yummy and lent an extra air of relaxation on Saturday.
I had a nice helper. He decided to help me shirtless.
I wasn't complaining. : )

Things to be excited about...

The husband having learned the hard (and rough) way that quality is worth the cost when it comes to toilet paper. My nether parts are looking forward to getting reacquainted with Charmin after a long bout with single ply Scott.


My camera!!! We're going out to CT and I am excited to hopefully take some cute pics of the nephews. Yay!


Dan decided to invest in a hard core turtle tank filter. It's huge. And a much bigger tank for our full bodied Harlem Aphrodite. Hopefully we'll have a nasty tank much less often and won't need to clean that big ole boy half as much.


El Fitz is completely smitten with dan. I'm only there to make his need for a pack complete. Dan tries to deny fitz has turned into his dog but I'm pretty sure this pic solidifies my assertion.
