Last Wednesday there was a crazy lightning storm during the night. This is what the sky looked like when the sun set...

It was a little foreboding.
And here's our bedroom. Mostly for the fam bamily who will probably won't be making the cross country trek any time soon or climbing up our 5 flights of stairs...
and yes that is a great big world map above our bed. it's old school looking and the colors go well with our bedroom and I needed something big to put above our bed ok! If you find something as cheap and easy to install as this let me know and I will improve this in an instant!In other news...
After completing my 2nd day of training for my new job, I am now CPR/1st Aid certified. If any of y'all go and collapse, I supposedly will know exactly what to do. Maybe if you collapse in the next few days I'll actually remember, but after Sunday... I kinda doubt it.

Thanks for posting the pics of your place--I think it's so romantical that you live in a real NY apt, even if it is like four flights of stairs up. And I like the map. Decorating an apt is tough--I think you're doing a good job.
