So I've kinda taken up running (running is a loose term for me). I downloaded the C25K application on my phone and absolutely love it. I'd been doing the 30 day shred with Jillian Michael's but nothing works the same muscles for running. But the first week of c25k is a manageable jog 60 seconds and walk 90. You do that for about 20 min. The reason why I like the app so much is that over my music a voice over comes on and tells me when to run, when to walk, when I'm halfway (so I know to turn around) and when I have one minute left. It's allowed me to feel really successful on all my runs.
This week I did my usual 6am George Washington Bridge run and it was gorgeous. While dodging the annoying bicyclists I took these pics a la iPhone.


I wish I had my other camera cause it was way my perfect and beautiful than these even come close to showing. It also probably helped that it was the first day in about a week that didn't have a high level of humidity. So it felt really nice and I wasn't drenched : )

I never knew such an app existed! You totally just inspired me to download it and start running!
That app sounds awesome! I need to look into it. I should start doing the 30 Day Shred again - I've been doing the gym at work everyday, but nothing quite kicks my ass like Jillian.
