So if you haven't heard...

I'm kinda pregnant. I'm due April 21, 2013 which is actually Dan's birthday. This sonogram is from the 12 weeks appointment. I'm currently 15 weeks and in the second trimester. As this blog at least part my journal and part a means of keeping my west coast family up to date, here's what pregnancy has been like thus far.
  • sickness: a couple of weeks of bad nausea at the beginning but not throwing up. At least not until 12 weeks when I suddenly threw up twice. The first time on the subway during morning rush hour. That was a wonderfully unpleasant experience that I hope nobody else has to experience.
  • tired: I was extremely tired for a month or so in the middle. Dan was gone for a week and I consistently went to sleep at about 8:45pm. It was wonderful
  • running: running is still doctor approved. She said as long as there's no cramping or bleeding and take it easy when I'm tired, then I'm good to go. I've felt great with the running thus far, although I am getting a bit tired of the training. I'm a little worried about the half marathon next week just because I'm a bit unmotivated at this point, but I still feel as good as I ever do when I'm out running.
That's about all that's been going on. It's been mostly uneventful. I feel like I'm already getting big and my pants are definitely straining to close. We'll find out the gender in December and we are so excited. I also can't wait until I feel it swimming around in there. Yay for babies!
