The Good Ole Days

So tonight I'm watching Send Me No Flowers and I know it' so anti-feminist and whatnot, but sometimes I just love the idea of staying at home, taking care of the house, being a stay at home mom, making dinner (even though I stink at cooking), baking fresh bread, sewing clothes etc. Just old school : ) I'm sure I would get plenty tired of it at some point, but I do hope that I can stay at home with our kids when they're young. We'll see what happens! Doris Day movies always make me wish for the classic days and the fashion! Sigh. Basically it's wonderful and modest which is oh so nice. Anyways, just a thought!

Sometimes I wish my life was like a Rock Hudson-Doris Day movie. Then I remember that Rock Hudson was gay and Doris Day was one of only a few women who actually got to have a career, and I feel a little bit better about my life :)

Call me sometime and give me the dish on wedding plans!
