Central Park

I love how green everything is here during the summer. Central Park is now one of my favorite places now that I've explored it a little bit. It's so green and has so many thing to do and see!
It was just about to rain as we were coming out of the park and I thought these buildings looked neat next to the grey sky...

So on Friday Dan came into the city and we did some errands. I got a new book : )!! and then we went into Central Park to sit and relax and read for a while before we went to a baseball game. When we finally got to the game in Staten Island it was pouring!!! and it was sold out. We had to buy tickets from a scalper (still questionable whether or not we gave/received the correct amount of money). The tickets included an all you can eat hot dogs/burgers thing so we got a few of those and dried off some seats and watched the storm break out over Manhattan. The lightning here is amazing!!! and the thunder! wooo-eee! When the storm is right on top of you it can be a little startling. We didn't end up staying for the game because it kept raining and me and the other girls were cold so after sitting around for an hour and a half we headed out. But it was still a fun night.
