Snow Day!

Wednesday was a snow day! All NYC public schools were canceled on Tuesday afternoon due to the impending storm. Meaning Dan had the day off. I canceled my appointment for the day and did paperwork at home. It was a really nice relaxing day to say the least! We met up with another friend for lunch and on the way home I took some pictures...

Snow covered NYC is the best. Everything is quiet and muffled and it looks so soft and clean... at least until it gets all muddy and brown and nasty and just becomes a nuisance : )

Needless to say, it was a lot of snow and I was actually kind of happy to see it. I've gotten used to there being snow in the winter time and we've only had one other snow storm where it actually stuck for a couple of days. This poor Cali girl is turning into a snowy winter girl : ( I gotta go some place warm!
